Description

Discover the Flora and the Fauna of the Cap de Creus Natural Park. This is a 3h. guided activity along the coast that combines kayaking and snorkeling in one of Costa Brava’s richest in biodiversity parts. The tour starts with a brief introduction of the typical marine life in the Mediterranean region, followed by warm up exercises and kayak paddling instructions. The group boards on sit-on-top kayaks and leaves the Llançà bay heading north. We would go paddling along the coast, exploring the magnificent sights of the Cap de Creus Natural Park until we reach the virgin area of Cap Ras. We will disembark at Canyelles Beach where the seabed is very rich and the snorkeling conditions are very favorable. The guide will give all the necessary instructions to the group and once everyone is equipped we will enter the water. He will lead the way into the water in order to secure the minimum negative impact or damage over the seabed and take care of everyone’s safety. We will be able to swim along with the most emblematic species of the Mediterranean like Seahorse, Sunfish, Red Starfish, Octopus or Moray eel and discover their natural environment. Once we have discovered the secrets of the underwater world we will go back to the beach, board the kayaks and return to the starting point. Back at the beach of Port de Llançà we will close the activity with some stretching exercises and a brief overview of the landscape of the Natural Park.

What to bring?

- Footwear to wet (old sneakers, crocs, neoprene socks…)
- Swimsuit or shorts to wet.
- Thermal T-shirt or lycra to wet.
- Spare clothes and towel.
- Something to hold the glasses.
- Sunglasses, sunscreen and something to drink.

1– The activities offered are subject to environmental conditions. In case of cancellation due to these conditions, the customer can postpone the activitie or get the money back.

2– The client has the obligation to report possible states of pregnancy, paraplegia or cardiovascular disease before hiring any activity. Also agrees not to be under the influence of alcohol or/and drugs as well as any other medication that might affect their ability to react. To participate in aquatic activities is essential to know how to swim. We have specified the minimum age required to participate in each activitie in the description on this website. Minors must have permission or be accompanied by an adult.

3- The price includes the necessary material. We have specified the equipment included in the activities on this website.

4– The price includes the insurances required by law. Accident Insurance and Liability: Policy Number 17193948 contracted with the insurance company AXA.

5– The customer may cancel the services contracted but must compensate SK Kayak with the amounts indicated below:

- 10% of the total amount of the reservation if the cancelation occurs more than 15 and less than 30 days before the date of the activitie.
- 15% between days five and fifteen
- 25% within the last four days
- In case of no-show the client must pay the total amount of the reservation
